Today we honor Edward Panlanchek with the Monroeville Fire Company whose LODD was 6/28/1969 On June 28, 1969, Firefighter Edward Palenchak of the Monroeville Volunteer Fire Company #3, died during an explosion at a construction shed fire. Also killed in the explosion was Firefighter Vincent Mezevich. Mr. Palenchak was survived by his wife, Eleanor, two daughters and one son.
